As humans, we come from nature. But we use her resources to build our cities into her. In our daily lives we have to take the cognitive decision to actively go see nature. Once there, most of us want to consume nature, but we are not able to let go of our everyday urban considerations and conversations.
The book’s rhythm is achieved through short reflections being thrown in between strong photographs, giving its pace to the story that is unfolded here.
The photographs are in black and white in order to highlight the shapes and forms pictured and the sometimes indistinguishable blend between nature and city.
