EXHIBITIONS

Born in 1980, with Swedish-German nationality, she lives and works as an artistic photographer for 5 years in Rio de Janeiro.

 

 

She has a degree in Visual Communication from the Bauhaus University in Weimar and since 2016 she is doing a mentoring with the curator Kristin Dittrich.

 

 

Ewa has participated in solo exhibitions and group exhibitions at home and abroad, including her solo exhibition "Construção" at the Centro Cultural Justiça Federal 2013 and the group show
"Abre Alas 11" at the "A Gentil Carioca" gallery (2015).

In 2015, she participated in an artist residency of the Cultural Center "Centro Cultural São Paulo" in the studios of Pivô in the Copan in São Paulo and the result was the publication "Exclusion/Inclusion",

which is on the photo book exhibition "CLAP 10x10" Latin American Photobooks which is touring since 2016 in the North and South America and Europe.

In 2016, her photographs were shown during
the month of the photography "eyes on" in Vienna and in 2017 she participated in the group exhibition "Limits of Growth" at the f2 fotofestival in Dortmund.

 

She publishes her pictures primarily in self-published artist's books in small editions and teaches storytelling at the photobook in Rio de Janeiro.
